Ahmedabad Fashion Week 2025 became a powerful platform for student-led narratives presented by NIFT Gandhinagar, showcasing collections that were diverse yet deeply interconnected in spirit. Established in 1995, NIFT Gandhinagar is one of India’s top-rated fashion institutes, offering undergraduate programs in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, and Fashion Technology, along with postgraduate programs in Fashion Management and Master of Design.

Recently ranked 5th in the Open Magazine College Survey, the institute is supported by strong academic infrastructure, including smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, a 200-bedded girls’ hostel, and comprehensive student facilities.

At this year’s fashion week, the student collections explored themes of identity, emotion, and connection—reflecting a return to roots, a reimagining of nature, personal narratives, and spiritual journeys. Through innovative surface developments, sustainable materials, and thoughtful design languages, the presentations highlighted fashion as a medium of reflection and responsibility. The Ahmedabad Fashion Week 2024 witnessed a groundbreaking collection that merged fashion with sustainability, created by the talented students from NIFT Gandhinagar. Established in 1995, NIFT Gandhinagar has consistently been recognized as one of India’s top fashion institutes, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various design disciplines. Ranked 5th in the Open Magazine College Survey, the campus boasted world-class academic infrastructure, including smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and top-notch amenities like a 200-bedded girls’ hostel, sports facilities, and a medical center.
